How to care for your Juni Moon Rattan items
The best way to care for your Juni Moon rattan items is to dust your items regularly. Do so using a soft dry cloth or a small brush (like a clean paintbrush or old toothbrush to gently remove dust from the rattanβs hard to reach places. If needed you can give the rattan piece a wipe with a damp cloth using mild soap and water. Avoid soaking the rattan, as too much moisture can cause a change in shape or create mould.
Store your rattan in a cool but dry climate - rattan will not store well in an outdoor cubby house (always bring items indoors after play) keep away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Too much sun can cause the rattan to fade and too much moisture can lead to mildew.
Avoid using bleaches, strong detergents, or abrasive cleaners, these can damage the natural fibres and finish of the rattan, not to mention adding chemicals to your natural products.
Rattan is strong but natural, so gentle play and storage will help it last through generations.
